BuzzPal LLC is recruiting people who...

...have worked for dating sites, social networking sites, and/or travel sites in one or more of the following roles:

  • Architect, Engineer, Designer, and Developer: We are always on the lookout for talented and productive folks across the spectrum, from big picture system design and scaling to writing, testing, and implementing features, and designing and developing the front-end to administering the database and system.
  • Product Manager: You set the direction and pace of product and customer development.
  • Marketing Manager: We need a data and ROI-driven marketing manager who can lead and run the whole shebang, from planning and budgeting to implementing and optimizing or marketing and viral channels.
  • Marketing Staffer: We’re looking for experts in online marketing strategies and tactics with a focus on execution. Competitor research, SEO, keyword selection, campaign design and management, landing pages,
  • Community Manager: Community managers should be passionate about BuzzLove and one or more of the following: blogging and micro-blogging, online and offline groups, events, meetups, and parties, and other online communities (Facebook, CouchSurfing, etc.).
  • Content Creators: Calling all talented writers for copywriting, ad writing, blogging, and social media interaction (Twitter, Facebook, forums, comments, links).
  • Profile Helper: A combination of cheerleader and makeover guru, profile helpers will be on call to tweak member profiles for maximum results.
  • Customer Service Representative: BuzzLove CSRs handle a little bit of everything to make sure our members have the best experience possible.

Hiring Process:

Our typical hiring process includes a trial project on a freelance basis. If the trial project goes well and there is ongoing mutual interest, we work towards bringing you on as an equity-holding team member.

As an equity-holding team member, your compensation would include cash, plus equity, plus participation in profit sharing and other compensation and benefits programs as they are rolled out over time.

Equity typically vests monthly over 36 months (starting in month #7). We typically also offer early team members a bonus block of equity that vests under certain conditions. You can read more about this vesting schedule and BuzzPal’s general philosophy on the BuzzPal Blog.
